Smart Chess Club

Last updated: 8 November 2026

Short version

Smart Chess Club does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What the app stores on your device

The app keeps small files in its own storage on your iPhone: your progress (lesson stars, solved puzzles, puzzle streak), your settings (sound, vibration, graphics, camera and capture-scene choices) and any player names you type for two-player games. These files never leave the app and we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them. Like any app data, they can be part of your own device backups, which you and Apple control.

Optional downloads

Lessons, puzzles and games work offline. Extra animal characters and some board themes are downloaded only when you tap Download. The file comes from our download server (Cloudflare), which, like any web server, briefly sees your device's internet address to deliver it. We do not keep or use it for anything else, and no personal data is sent with the download.

What the app does not do

  • No sign-in or account.
  • No collection of names, email addresses, contacts, location, photos, camera, microphone or device IDs.
  • No advertising and no advertising IDs.
  • No analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools from other companies.
  • No in-app purchases.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes

If a future version changes any of this, we will update this page and the App Store privacy details before that version is released.
