Free llms.txt generator
llms.txt is a short plain-text file that describes your business and links your key pages for AI tools. It is an optional, newer proposal: some tools read it, many do not yet. It is quick to add and does no harm.
Upload it to the top folder of your website so it opens at yourbusiness.com/llms.txt. Check the text first: it should only say true things about your business.
What this does not do
- It does not get you ranked or recommended by ChatGPT, Google or any AI. Nobody can promise that.
- It only looks at your homepage and a few standard files, not your whole site.
- It reads the page the way a simple crawler does, without running JavaScript.
- It cannot see how any AI company actually uses your pages.
